Preparing for Interviews

 

  • Research the company ahead of time.  Review their products, services, reputation, and recent history. 

  • If there are any gaps in your resume (e.g. they would like an employee with a skill you do not possess), think about how you will discuss them honestly and positively. 

  • Print out 2 copies of your Vencer Profile and the job description – these have been provided to you via email by us prior to the interview date

  • Think ahead, and be ready to talk about the on-the-job challenges you have overcome.  Also think about situations where you have shown good people skills, good work under stressful conditions, and good problem-solving skills.

  • Project a confident, positive attitude, and a willingness to learn and adapt.  Many employers will choose an employee for their ability to fit in with “the team” rather than for their paper qualifications.
